Meet The Face Behind MEDME Services Corporation

I’m Sandra Juarez, the proud owner of MEDME Services Corporation.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I was a local hometown girl from Texas who had a dream to break into the medical industry. So, I started to work for a large medical insurance company in the claims department in 1995, where I rapidly increased my knowledge.

However, after five years, I had to leave the company as it was relocating. Due to my insurance background, I got a job with a chiropractor, processing all of the workers’ compensation claims from start to finish.

In 2004, I began representing a company that promoted durable medical equipment (DME) directly to physicians and medical facilities. I breezed through the claims processing protocols and also implemented medical equipment sales and rentals to patients.

Within a few months, I realized that I had all the information, the training, and the experience necessary to start a medical company of my own. With the help of an SBA loan, I launched a licensed durable medical equipment company in El Paso, Texas, in 2005.

Over the past fifteen years, I’ve noticed that the medical field has evolved. For instance, Medicare fee schedules have drastically reduced, and large corporations have bought physicians clinics and manage them as businesses.

Despite the changes, people will always need medical equipment, so I make my presence known by diligently working longer hours and maintain a hard work ethic.

Consequently, I’m committed to the daily grind, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my persistence. Besides, I respect people and provide honest feedback, which has enhanced my integrity.

I also attribute my success to my magnificent team that goes the extra mile for clients to provide excellent equipment with exceptional service. Each employee holds themselves accountable to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

As the owner, It’s rewarding to know that every referral gets filled at the end of each day, and the patient has received the medical equipment that they need. My firm’s consistency means that physicians and facilities want to develop long term relationships with me.

As a result, I feel proud as a woman to have sustained my small business for over fifteen years and have grown the operations to a larger scale. I’ve also paid salaries to my loyal employees without fail, which is immensely satisfying.

When I’m not empowering patients, I like to relax at home, go horse racing and traveling with my husband, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I also support ‘The Dell Children’s Hospital’ in Austin, Texas, that saved my precious grandson’s life when he had a severe pneumonia case. I will be eternally thankful to the doctors and staff.
